PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Memiliki geografis perbukitan di daerah Pemalang Selatan membuat Desa Jojogan, Kecamatan Watukumpul, Pemalang mengalami kendala dalam akses internet. Namun hal ini tidak menyurutkan pemerintah desa untuk mengembangkan website desa sebagai sarana informasi dan promosi.

Kepada Puskapik.com, Kades Jojogan, Irman mengatakan, meski tidak mudah, segala usaha ia lakukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan internet warga. Salah satunya dengan mendirikan tower setinggi 15 meter di atas bukit di sekitar balai desa. Hasilnya tak sia-sia, website Desa Jojogan masuk dalam nominasi 10 desa terbaik dalam Kompetisi Website Desa oleh Puspindes Pemalang, Selasa, 24 November 2021.

Kades juga mengajukan usulan bantuan melalui Kementerian Komunikasi dan informasi (Kemenkominfo) terkait kendala akses internet di desanya. Usulan ini rupanya disambut baik, Kemenkominfo mengundangnya untuk studi banding ke salah satu desa yang berbasis IT di daerah Majalengka, Jawa Barat.

“Kalau tidak ada kendala di tahun 2021 sesuai yang dijanjikan akan ada bantuan pembangunan pemancar internet di 21 titik di desa ini. Dengan itu mimpi Pemdes Jojogan akan terwujud sejalan dengan semangat pemerintah pusat untuk mengatasi persoalan ‘blank spot’ internet di daerah terpencil,” katanya.

Bagi Pemdes Jojogan, website desa sangat penting, salah satunya sebagai promosi potensi wisata desa yang saat ini sedang dikembangkan.

“Sejak 2019 kami sudah memulai mengembangkan potensi wisata, salah satunya Bukit Pabungan, dan insyaAllah di 2021 nanti akan ada wisata baru dengan kolam renang sebagai sarana pendukungnya,” ungkapnya.

Irman optimistis dengan promosi melalui website dan medsos dapat mendukung program pengembangan wisata di desanya itu. “Saya yakin akan mampu bersaing dengan destinasi-destinasi wisata yang sudah ada di desa-desa lain di wilayah Pemalang Selatan khususnya,” katanya.

Irman berharap bisa memenangkan Kompetisi Website Desa dari Puspindes yang pemenangnya akan diumumkan Rabu besok, 24 November 2020.

“Kami optimistis bisa menang, agar bisa memotivasi rekan-rekan pemdes. Kami percaya proses yang kami lalui tak akan mengkhianati hasil,” katanya.
