Kasatlantas Polres Tegal, AKP Faris Budiman, kepada puskapik.com, mengatakan, tujuan dilaksanakannya kegiatan ini utk memberikan pelatihan guna meningkatkan kemampuan para pengemudi. Harapannya bisa menurunkan angka kecelakaan.
“Jika kemampuan para pengemudi meningkat, diharapkan akan menekan angka kecelakaan. Polri juga memberikan bantuan sopir bus, kernet, sopir truk, sopir rental, sopir treavel, tukang ojek dan kusir andong, dalam rangka Program Polri Peduli Keselamatan 2020,” beber AKP Faris
Faris menambahkan, melihat animo peserta yang cukup banyak, pelatihan dibagi menjadi tiga tahap, masing-masing tahap selama 1 (satu) bulan. Selama satu bulan tersebut, setiap harinya ada 3 (tiga) gelombang dengan peserta sebanyak 20 orang per gelombang dengan durasi waktu 45 menit.
“Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam tiga tahap selam tiga bulan. Jadi, satu tahap satu bulan. Untuk hariannya ada tiga gelombang dengan jumlah 20 orang per gelombang,” terang Faris.
Setelah selesai mengikuti pelatihan Program Peduli Keselamatan, masing-masing peserta akan mendapat buku tabungan dan ATM BRI yang berisi saldo sebesar Rp 600.000.
“Tabungan tersebut dari BRI untuk para peserta. Karena ini program terpusat kerjasama Polri dengan BRI, ” pungkas Faris.
Sementara itu, salah satu peserta pelatihan, Rahmat, sopir Bus, mengaku sangat senang bisa mengikuti pelatihan.
“Alhamdulillah bisa ikut buat nambah ilmu. Ngerti bagaimana mengemudi yang baik dan benar. Senang juga dapat tabungan. Terimakasih Polres Tegal,” ungkapnya.
