PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Pengawas Tempat Pemungutan Suara (PTPS) Kecamatan Pemalang disiagakan jelang hari H pencoblosan Pemilu 2024. Mereka diminta tegas dan tak takut ketika mendapati pelanggaran.

Ratusan PTPS dimantapkan dalam Apel Siaga Tahapan Pengawasan Pemilu 2024 di Lapangan Desa Sewaka, Kecamatan Pemalang, Kabupaten Pemalang, Minggu 11 Februari 2024.

Apel yang dipesertai 619 pengawas TPS itu turut diikuti jajaran Forum Komunikasi Pimpinan Kecamatan (Forkompimcam) Pemalang.

Apel siaga ini menjadi simbol kesiapan para pengawas TPS Kecamatan Pemalang sebelum bertugas mengawal jalannya pelaksanaan Pemilu pada Rabu 14 Februari 2024 mendatang.

Jauh sebelumnya, para pengawas TPS se-Kecamatan Pemalang ini telah diberi bimbingan teknis terkait tugas pokok dan fungsi, serta regulasi yang mereka pegang dalam melakukan pengawasan Pemilu.

Ketua Panitia Pengawas Kecamatan (Panwascam) Pemalang, Fatkhu Rozaq Agung Sanjaya, mengungkapkan, melalui bimbingan teknis itu pula, PTPS diharapkan tak gagap saat bertugas.

“Kami sudah membekali regulasi. Jadi teman-teman PTPS harus berani, jangan takut kalau mendapati pelanggaran. Kita ini bertugas berdasarkan perintah Undang-Undang.” kata Rozaq.

Dalam apel siaga itu, Fatkhu Rozaq juga mengingatkan agar PTPS selalu berpegang pada regulasi yang ada ketika menghadapi insiden-insiden atau dugaan pelanggaran di TPS.

“Kami juga ingatkan dan instruksikan jajaran pengawas agar melakukan pencegahan, agar tidak ada kejadian-kejadian yang tidak diinginkan.” tutur Fatkhu Rozaq.

Terakhir, Rozaq meminta agar mereka menjaga kesehatan tubuh agar nantinya mampu menjalankan tugas dengan baik. Mereka pun diminta agar disiplin dalam menjalankan tugasnya sebagai pengawas.

“Ya, kami sudah mewanti-wanti agar mereka disiplin. Nanti saat hari H, mereka musti datang lebih awal dari petugas KPPS.” terangnya.
