PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Klub sepak bola kebanggaan wong Pemalang, PSIP, bakal melakoni laga uji coba melawan klub raksasa Persija Jakarta U-20. Laga uji coba ini menjadi sumbu gairah Laskar Benowo menyambut kompetisi Liga 3 Jateng.
Laga uji coba PSIP vs Persija U-20 itu bakal berlangsung di Stadion Mochtar Pemalang, Minggu 25 Juni 2023 pukul 15.00 WIB. Pertandingan persahabatan melawan Macan Kemayoran ini menjadi laga bergengsi bagi Laskar Benowo.
Pertandingan tersebut juga menjadi eksibisi manajemen baru PSIP. Seperti diketahui, PSIP baru saja mengalami penyegaran kepengurusan. Kursi manajer PSIP kini diduduki pengusaha muda Pemalang, Hengky Wijaya.
Hengky Wijaya mengungkapkan, laga uji coba melawan Persija U-20 ini menjadi momen untuk membangunkan semangat dan gairah PSIP. Lebih dari itu, juga untuk membakar antusiasme warga Pemalang dengan klub lokalnya.
“Kita buat gebrakan lewat laga uji coba ini, kita ingin mengajak masyarakat untuk memiliki rasa bangga dan cinta kepada PSIP. Karena PSIP itu milik seluruh warga masyarakat Kabupaten Pemalang.” kata Hengky, Selasa 20 Juni 2023.
Mengenai materi pemain, Hengky menyebut, nantinya PSIP bakal menerjunkan para pemain lokal terbaik PSIP musim lalu. Mengingat, untuk musim ini PSIP sendiri belum menggelar seleksi pemain.
“Ya, memang juga muncul pertanyaan itu. Belum seleksi pemain tapi kok sudah menggelar eksibisi. Jadi di laga uji coba melawan persija nanti, kita turunkan skuat PSIP musim kemarin. Tentu pasca uji coba, kita bakal gelar seleksi pemain.” ujarnya.
Lebih jauh, diungkapkan Hengky, usai laga uji coba nanti PSIP bakal mempersiapkan diri menghadapi Liga 3 Jawa Tengah bulan Oktober mendatang. Kebangkitan PSIP ini diharapkan menjadi kabar baik bagi pemain-pemain lokal yang potensial.
“Program kerja yang ada di depan mata kita adalah persiapan Liga 3 Jateng, akan kita bangkitkan semangat Laskar Benowo, kita bangkitkan marwah bahwa kita pernah juara Liga 3 Jateng,” tegas Hengky.
Dirinya optimis PSIP mampu kembali meraih kejayaan itu. Hengky Wijaya sendiri punya mimpi besar agar PSIP tak hanya stagnan di Liga 3, melainkan terus melaju ke Liga 2 bahkan di kancah nasional.
