PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Anggota DPR RI, Dede Indra Permana, membantu pemugaran pagar makam leluhur Kabupaten Pemalang Pangeran Benowo di Desa Penggarit Kecamatan Taman menjelang bulan suci Ramadan.

Bantuan pemugaran area makam Pangeran Benowo dari Anggota DPR RI dapil X Jawa Tengah itu secara simbolis diserahkan melalui kader PDI Perjuangan, Arif Lukman Muslim di Balai Rakyat Kompleks Benowo Park, Jumat 10 Maret 2023.

“Bantuan kami serah terimakan kepada pengurus makam. Sumbangan dari Mas Dede ini, diperuntukkan memperbaiki pagar area makam Pangeran Benowo ini,” tutur Arif Lukman Muslim.

Bantuan tersebut tak lain merupakan salah satu bentuk penghormatan kepada leluhur dan sejarah. Harapannya, bantuan yang diberikan ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat setempat dan pengunjung.

“Diharapkan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat. Utamanya masyarakat yang ingin berziarah ke makam,” ungkap Arif Lukman Muslim.

Sebagai informasi, Pangeran Benowo merupakan salah satu leluhur di Kabupaten Pemalang. Ia berasal putera mahkota Kerajaan Pajang. Namun demikian, dirinya enggan berkuasa. Ia justru berkelana dan menyebarkan agama Islam.

Pangeran Benowo merupakan putra dari Sultan Hadiwijaya atau Jaka Tingkir, pendiri Kesultanan Pajang yang berkuasa 1568-1583 Masehi. Sedangkan ibunya adalah Ratu Mas Cempaka, adalah putri Sultan Trenggana, Raja Demak periode 1521-1546 Masehi.
