PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Hari ini, Jumat (20/3/2020) Komisi Pemilihan Umum Pemalang, mengumumkan anggota Panitia Pemungutan Suara (PPS) se-Kabupaten Pemalang, yang dinyatakan lolos seleksi.

Informasi seleksi PPS itu dapat dilihat di Kantor KPU, Kantor Panitia Pemilihan Kecamatan (PPK) di seluruh Kecamatan se-Kabupaten Pemalang, atau Website KPU Pemalang.

Sebanyak PPS 666 anggota yang terseleksi ini rencananya akan dilantik tanggal 22 Maret, di kecamatan masing-masing. Hal ini disampaikan komisioner KPU Pemalang, Agus Setiyanto. “666 anggota PPS yang akan dilantik adalah sebagai mandataris KPU,” katanya.

Ada perubahan tempat pelantikan pada pemilu kali ini. Yang seharusnya dilaksanakan di satu tempat dan dilantik oleh Komisioner KPU, berubah dilaksanakan di kecamatan masing-masing, menyusul adanya surat edaran dari KPU RI terkait pencegahan wabah virus corona.

Agus juga menyatakan, PPS yang terpilih sudah memenuhi kapasitas. Karena menurutnya upaya yang dilakukan KPU dalam menjaring anggota PPS sangat serius dan maksimal. “Proses seleksi melalui tahapan yang tidak dilakukan pada Pemilu sebelumnya, seperti tes tertulis dengan sistem komputer. Hasilnya bisa dilihat saat itu juga sehingga lebih transparan,” ungkapnya.

KPU juga berharap PPS yang akan dilantik, bisa mengemban amanah dan profesional dalam mengemban tugas pada pelaksanaan Pilkada Pemalang 2020.
