PEMALANG (PUSKAPIK)-Kejuaraan Soda Racing Pemalang atau offroad mulai dihelat di pantai Widuri, Sabtu (18/1/2020). Pada kejuaraan ini, para offroader menempuh jarak 900 meter dengan 6 tantangan atau offcykle.
Pimpinan balap Soda Racing, Asnan, mengatakan, Kejuaraan Pemalang Soda Racing diikuti sekitar 56 peserta dari berbahai darah seperti, Sumatera, Jawa timur, Jateng, Jabar, Jakarta, Banten dan Bali.
Menurut Asanan, Jalur off-road dengan panjang sekitar 900 meter, memiliki tantangan 6 tanggul atau istilah offroad disebut off cykle. “Of cykle dibentuk panitia menggunakan undukan tanah agar para offroder bisa bermanuver jumping,†kata Asnan Sabtu (18/1/2020).
Asnan menjelaskan, metode aturan lomba, yaitu para peserta memiliki hak dua kali pertandingan, yaitu kelas tiga putaran dan kelas dua putaran.
“Kelas tersebut nantinya diseleksi untuk menentukan juara, dan selanjutnya para juara akan mewakili kejuaraan daerah (Kejurda) tingkat Jawa Tengah,” kata Asnan.
Menurutnya, kejuaraan Pemalang Roda Racing kali ini, memiliki tingkat kesulitan yang cukup sulit. Pasalnya, sirkuit yang semula tanahnya kering, berubah menjadi basah karena pada malam hari diguyur hujan. ” Para peserta banyak yang terjebak pada kubangan lumpur, sehingga terpaksa akhirnya gagal dan harus diderek oleh tim evakuasi,” tutur Asnan.
Perlombaan Pemalang Soda Racing, masih akan berlangsung hingga esok, Minggu (19/1/201/20) dan rencanannya akan dilakukan final.
