PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Wakil Ketua Dewan Tanfidz DPC Partai Kebangkitan Bangsa (PKB) Pemalang, Mahfudin, resmi menjadi anggota Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD) Pemalang menggantikan Nurul Huda yang mengundurkan diri.

Mahfudin dilantik oleh Ketua DPRD Pemalang, Tatang Kirana, dalam rapat paripurna pengambilan sumpah janji pengganti antar waktu (PAW) pagi ini, Selasa 1 Agustus 2023.

Pengambilan sumpah janji Mahfudin disaksikan Plt Bupati Pemalang, Mansur Hidayat. Dalam pantauan puskapik.com, Ketua DPC PKB Pemalang, Iskandar Ali Syahbana, tampak hadir dalam pelantikan tersebut.

Usai dilantik, Mahfudin mengatakan, kedepan dirinya bakal segera beradaptasi dengan lingkungan DPRD Pemalang. Dirinya pun menegaskan, misi utamanya tak lain adalah memperjuangkan aspirasi masyarakat.

“Yang paling penting, anggota dewan adalah wakil dari rakyat, sehingga aspirasi rakyat yang diwakili harus diperjuangkan sampai titik darah penghabisan.” tegasnya.

Lebih jauh mengenai posisinya di Komisi D DPRD Pemalang, Mahfudin, menyebut ia bakal menggali lebih dalam isu-isu strategis di Kabupaten Pemalang yang harus ditangani Komisi D, misalnya pada sektor pendidikan.

“Mudah-mudahan setelah nanti saya di dalamnya (Komisi D) bisa bergabung bersama teman-teman lainnya menangani persoalan-persoalan yang ada, seperti kesejahteraan guru.” tutur Mahfudin.

Sementara itu, Ketua DPC PKB Pemalang, Iskandar Ali Syahbana, berharap, Mahfudin mampu menggantikan peran Nurul Huda, menjalankan tugasnya dengan baik serta memegang teguh amanah yang diberikan kepadanya.

“Semoga sahabat Mahfudin bisa menjalankan tugas dengan baik, dekat dengan rakyat dan tentunya aspiratif, membawa kepentingan masyarakat demi kesejahteraan rakyat.” tegasnya.
