PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Tren positif kasus pandemi corona (Covid-19) di Kabupaten Pemalang terus meningkat. Sebanyak 8 pasien dalam pengawasan (PDP) dinyatakan sembuh dan dipulangkan, 395 kasus orang dalam pemantauan (ODP) dinyatakan selesai. Sementara kasus positif corona di Kota Ikhlas masih tetap diangka nol alias nihil.

Berdasarkan data Pemalang Tanggap Covid-19 di website https//infocorona.pemalangkab.go.id/, pada Rabu dini hari, 1 April 2020, tercatat ada sebanyak 20 kasus PDP di Pemalang. Dari ke-20 orang yang menjalani perawatan intensif tim medis,  8 pasien sudah dinyatakan sembuh, sedangkan 12 pasien lainnya masih menjalani di ruang isolasi di sejumlah rumah sakit.

Sementara itu, meski kasus ODP di Pemalang tergolong tinggi yakni sebanyak 1.603 kasus, namun 395 orang sudah dinyatakan selesai dan dinyatakan bebas dari virus corona. Sehingga, kasus ODP menyisakan 1.208 orang.

Kabupaten Pemalang menjadi salah satu daerah di Jawa Tengah yang masuk dalam kategori zona aman pandemi corona. Pasalnya, sejak virus corona mewabah di hampir seluruh wilayah Indonesia, hingga kini belum ada satupun warga Pemalang yang dinyatakan positif terkena penyakit yang sedang menjadi momok masyarakat tersebut.

Sebelumnya, sempat tersiar kabar adanya pasien corona asal Pemalang yang meninggal di RSUD Kraton Pekalongan. Namun, belakangan kabar itu terbantahkan setelah Bupati Pemalang, DR H Junaedi SH MM, memberikan pernyataan resmi bahwa pasien corona itu bukan warganya.

“Pasien corona yang meninggal bukan warga Pemalang. Tapi warga ber-KTP Jakarta dan dimakamkan di Pemalang atas pertimbangan kemanusiaan dan atas permintaan pihak keluarganya di Ulujami, Pemalang,” kata bupati sewaktu menggelar konfrensi pers, Minggu malam, 29 Maret 2020 lalu.
