Wow! Pertama di Jawa Tengah, PDAM Pemalang Punya Monitoring Centre Berbasis IoT

PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang meluncurkan Water Monitoring Centre untuk memantau aliran air dari sumber mata air hingga ke pelanggan. Aliran air pun kini bisa terpantau melalui aplikasi berbasis Internet Of Things (IoT).

Secara resmi, monitoring centre yang dibangun di area pelayanan Kantor Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang itu diresmikan Bupati Pemalang, Mansur Hidayat, didampingi Direktur Utama Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia, Slamet Efendi, Jumat 5 Januari 2024.

Usai diresmikan, Mansur Hidayat meninjau langsung monitoring centre yang dibangun Tim IT Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang. Dirinya mengapresiasi Tim IT PDAM Kabupaten Pemalang atas inovasi sistem yang berbasis digital ini.

“Disini lengkap, kita bisa lihat pendapatan, kondisi airnya, kerusakan yang terjadi, dan lain sebagainya bisa termonitor. Dan ini inovasi pertama di Jawa Tengah.” kata Mansur Hidayat.

Sementara itu, Direktur Utama Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang, Slamet Efendi, menerangkan, monitoring centre ini dibangun guna menjadi pusat integrasi data untuk memudahkan pelayanan pelanggan Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia.

“Jadi water monitoring centre ini menjadi sarana kita (perusahaan) untuk memantau aliran air dan kebutuhan air serta pelayanan ke pelanggan.” jelas Slamet Efendi.

Nantinya data yang ditunjukkan dalam monitoring centre tersebut dapat menjadi pertimbangan perusahaan dan manajemen dalam proses koordinasi, pengambilan keputusan, serta mengontrol seluruh kegiatan bisnis di Perumda Tirta Mulia Pemalang.

“Misalnya, ketika level air di reservoar drop (turun) itu pastinya ada gangguan. Pelayanan ke pelanggan juga gangguan. Nanti bagian teknik bisa memutuskan kebijakan apa yang perlu diambil.” tutur Slamet Efendi.

Disamping level air, tekanan air juga bisa terpantau secara jelas melalui monitoring centre ini. Walhasil, gangguan pelayanan atau kebocoran pipa bisa diketahui secara dini oleh Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang.

Lebih jauh, data yang tersaji dalam monitoring centre sendiri dihasilkan oleh aplikasi berkonsep Internet of Things (IoT) yang dikembangkan secara mandiri oleh Tim IT Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang.

Manajer IT Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang, Budi Harsudiono, mengatakan, IoT ini merupakan teknologi terbaru dimana konsepnya menggabungkan antara sensor elektronik yang dibutuhkan untuk memantau air dengan koneksi internet.

“Sensor tersebut meliputi sensor tekanan air, level air, dan debit air. Jadi data dari sensor itu akan otomatis terkirim secara real time melalui jaringan internet ke server kita (Perumda Tirta Mulia Pemalang)” jelas Budi Harsudiono.

Perumda Air Minum Tirta Mulia Kabupaten Pemalang pun menjadi perumda air minum pertama di Provinsi Jawa Tengah yang menggunakan sistem pintar berbasis IoT ini dalam memantau aliran air untuk memaksimalkan pelayanan pelanggan.
