PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Tersangka S (42) warga Kecamatan Belik, Pemalang diamankan Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Satreskrim) Polres Pemalang usai membeli ponsel secara Cash On Delivery (COD) menggunakan uang palsu (Upal).
Kapolres Pemalang AKBP Ari Wibowo Jumat 5 November 2021, mengatakan, tersangka S diamankan di rumahnya di Desa Belik Kecamatan Belik, Pemalang.
“Tersangka menggunakan uang palsu pecahan Rp 100 ribu sebanyak 11 lembar untuk membeli ponsel dari saksi David Setiawan,†kata Kapolres.
Karena tidak mengetahui uang yang didapatkannya dari menjual ponsel merupakan uang palsu, lalu saksi menggunakan sebagian uang palsu tersebut untuk membeli ponsel baru.
“Saksi membeli ponsel secara Cash On Delivery (COD) dengan pelapor Saiful Ahmad (24) dengan harga Rp 660 ribu,†kata Kapolres.
Setelah menyadari uang yang diterimanya dari saksi dengan pecahan Rp. 100 ribu sejumlah 6 lembar ternyata uang palsu, kemudian pelapor mengajak saksi untuk bertemu kembali.
“Setelah pelapor menanyakan perihal uang palsu pada saksi, ternyata saksi tidak mengetahui uang yang didapatkannya dari tersangka S adalah uang palsu. Kemudian pelapor melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke Polres Pemalang,†imbuh Kapolres.
AKBP Ari Wibowo mengatakan, Polres Pemalang berhasil mengamankan barang bukti uang palsu sejumlah 31 lembar dengan pecahan nominal Rp 100 ribu.
“Tersangka dijerat pasal 36 ayat (2) dan (3) Jo Pasal 26 (2) ayat (3) UU RI Nomor 7 tahun 2011 tentang Mata uang, dengan ancaman hukuman maksimal 15 tahun penjara,†ungkap Kapolres.
