PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Remaja Desa Gombong Kecamatan Belik Kabupaten Pemalang mendapat penyuluhan pendewasaan usia perkawinan (PUP). Di tengah tingginya angka pernikahan dini, mereka diberi penjelasan cara menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya dan lebih bijak dalam menjaganya hingga siap berkeluarga.
Penyuluhan yang dilakukan oleh Balai Penyuluhan Pembangunan Keluarga, Kependudukan, dan Keluarga Berencana (Bangga Kencana) Kecamatan Belik ini berlangsung Sabtu 16 Oktober 2021 kemarin.
Dalam kegiatan itu, sejumlah remaja SMP dan SMA di desa Gombong mendapat penjelasan dan pemahaman langsung dari penyuluh keluarga berencana (KB) kecamatan Belik, serta bidan desa setempat.
Penyuluh KB Belik, Niswatul Qonita, mengatakan, kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam upaya Pendewasaan Usia Perkawinan (PUP), sesuai dengan Visi BKKBN, yaitu menyelenggarakan Keluarga Berencana dan Kesehatan Reproduksi.
Desa Gombong menjadi salah satu lokasi penyuluhan di Kecamatan Belik karena memiliki angka pernikahan dini yang tinggi. Perlu diketahui, kasus pernikahan dini di Kecamatan Belik mencapai 384 perempuan usia di bawah 20 tahun pada 2020, dan angka itu cenderung stagnan sejak 2010.
Faktor penyebabnya, antara lain kultur nikah muda, pendidikan yang masih rendah, dan kekhawatiran orang tua akan seks pra-nikah.
“Penyuluhan ini merupakan langkah awal dan komitmen para penyuluh untuk memberikan pemahaman kepada para remaja terkait pentingnya pendewasaan usia perkawinan.†ujarnya, Senin 18 Oktober 2021.
Penyuluhan yang diadakan di kediaman remaja Dukuh Kandang Gotong, Desa Gombong, itu juga menghadirkan Bidan desa setempat, Winarni Amd Kep. Ia menekankan agar para remaja harus lebih menjaga kesehatan organ reproduksinya.
“Sebaiknya paham cara menjaga kesehatan reproduksinya dan lebih bijak dalam menjaganya sampai nanti siap berkeluarga,†ungkap Winarni.
Disela penyuluhan, para peserta mengikuti Games Ranking 1 yang menguji pengetahuan remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi serta diakhiri dengan pembacaan Ikrar Pendewasaan Usia Perkawinan, yaitu laki-laki menikah 25 tahun dan perempuan menikah 21 tahun.
Seusai pembacaan ikrar yang dipimpin Runner Up Duta Genre Putra Kabupaten Pemalang, Galih Prasongko, mereka kemudian menandatangani komitmen bersama.
Setelah penyuluhan ini, nantinya akan dibentuk Pusat Informasi dan Konseling Remaja (PIK-R) yang berfungsi sebagai wadah mencari informasi tentang problematika remaja dan kegiatan positif lainnya.
