PUSKAPIK.COM, Pekalongan – Awal tahun 2021, Unit Pelaksana Teknis Daerah (UPTD) Metrologi Legal di bawah naungan Dinas Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan UKM (Dindagkop UKM) Kota Pekalongan melakukan tera ulang dengan sasaran SPBU-SPBU se-Kota Pekalongan.
Selasa 12 Januari 2021, tera ulang menyasar dua SPBU yakni SPBU Kalibanger dan SPBU Gamer, Kecamatan Pekalongan Timur. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi terjadinya kecurangan yang dilakukan oleh pengelola terkait ukuran dan takaran yang dapat merugikan masyarakat.
Kepala UPTD Metrologi Legal Dindagkop UKM, Very Yudiyanto SE menyampaikan, tera ulang merupakan kegiatan yang dilakukan secara rutin dan berkala oleh UPTD Metrologi Legal untuk melindungi konsumen. Tahun ini, pihaknya menyasar SPBU se-Kota Pekalongan yang jumlahnya sekitar delapan SPBU.
“Kami targetkan kegiatan selesai dalam waktu satu minggu, karena keterbatasan teknisi satu hari kami sasar dua SPBU. Hari ini kami lakukan tera di SPBU Kalibanger dan SPBU Gamer,†kata Very saat ditemui di SPBU Kalibanger, Jalan Dr Sutomo, Baros, Pekalongan.
Pengujian tera ulang terhadap pompa ukur BBM pada tiap nozzle dilakukan dengan menakar ulang menggunakan bejana minimal 20 liter untuk memastikan takaran sesuai dengan hasil tera ulang dan mengacu pada ambang batas yang telah ditentukan. Tiap nozzle yang sudah ditera dan dinyatakan sah memenuhi standar takaran akan diberi segel berupa tanda tera dan stiker yang berlaku selama satu tahun.
Dia menambahkan, selain SPBU, pihaknya juga akan menyasar pasar tradisional, kelurahan, dan pusat perbelanjaan (Mall).
