PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Warga Kabupaten Pemalang, Tabah Nursalim berhasil menyabet juara 1 Festival Lomba Mural di Polda Jawa Tengah yang digelar, Sabtu, 30 Oktober 2021. Atas prestasi itu dia berhak membawa pulang hadiah sebesar Rp10 juta.
Tabah Nursalim (32) tidak sendiri dalam perlombaan mural yang digelar di halaman Mapolda Jateng tersebut. Warga Penggarit, Taman, Pemalang itu dibantu rekannya, Shandy.
“Awal ikut lomba itu, Mas Tabah dapat informasi dari saya tentang lomba itu dan mendaftar, tapi waktu itu mepet,” kata Shandy, Selasa, 2 November 2021.
Shandy dan Tabah sempat ragu berkas pendaftaran yang dikirim diterima panitia. Namun, akhirnya keduanya mendapatkan panggilan.
“Kita dipanggil ke polres untuk mengisi kelengkapan biodata, kemudian berangkat ke Polda Jawa Tengah. Kita berangkat mandiri,” tutur Shandy.
Sesampainya di kantor Polda Jawa Tengah, Jumat, 29 Oktober 2021, Tabah dan Shandy langsung membuat sketsa dan menjalani rapid test malam harinya. “Kita datang membawa nama Pemalang, atas nama Polres Pemalang dalam lomba itu,” kata Shandy.
Dengan tangan kreatifnya, Tabah dibantu Shandy membuat mural apik bertemakan ‘Bersama Menjalankan Protokol Kesehatan’. Karya itu terpilih menjadi juara 1 menyisihkan 10 mural artist lain dari berbagai kota di Jawa Tengah. Atas prestasi tersebur, Tabah Nursalim menerima piala dan uang pembinaan sebesar Rp10 juta dari Polda Jateng.
“Bangga sekali kami berhasil meraih juara ini. Tapi sesampainya di Pemalang ya semua tampak biasa. Ya begitulah,” kata Shandy.
Ia berharap ke depan para seniman di Kabupaten Pemalang, baik perorangan maupun komunitas, mendapat perhatian, apresiasi, dan dukungan dalam berkarya.
Mengutip tribratanews.pemalang.jateng.polri.go.id, meski menang karya seni mural Tabah Nursalim tidak lolos seleksi untuk mengikuti lomba di tingkat Mabes Polri.
