KOTA PEKALONGAN (PUSKAPIK)- Pada Februari 2020, harga cabai di beberapa pasar di Kota Pekalongan mulai berangsur turun. Konsumen berangsur meningkatkan jumlah stok pembelian. Hal ini dibenarkan oleh Kepala Bidang Perdagangan pada Dinas Perdagangan, Koperasi, dan Usaha Kecil Menengah (Dindagkop-UKM) Kota Pekalongan, Sri Haryati, SSos, MM, Selasa (4/2/2020).
Haryati menyebut Dindagkop-UKM Kota Pekalongan rutin melakukan pantauan perkembangan harga-harga komoditas baik sayuran, sembako, dan bahan pangan lainnya di tiga Pasar induk di Kota Pekalongan yakni Pasar Banjarsari, Pasar Grogolan dan Pasar Banyurip Kota Pekalongan.
Menurut Haryati, sejak awal tahun 2020 tepatnya minggu awal Bulan Januari 2020, komoditas cabai di pasaran sebelumnya sempat mengalami kenaikan drastis. Namun, terhitung pada tanggal 3 Februari 2020 harganya mulai turun.
“Berdasarkan data harga di Pasar Banjarsari, Grogolan, Pasar Banyurip, terhitung pada 3 Februari, harga cabai sudah mengalami penurunan pada empat jenis cabai yaitu cabai merah besar biasa (teropong), cabai merah keriting, cabai rawit merah dan cabai rawit hijau,†kata Haryati.
Keempat jenis cabai tersebut sebelumnya mengalami kenaikan harga, yang paling tinggi kenaikannya saat awal Januari kemarin khususnya saat awal tahun baru dan menjelang Perayaan Imlek adalah harga cabai merah yang mencapai Rp 80.000 per kilogram. Kenaikan harga tersebut disebabkan karena perubahan musim ke musim penghujan yang membuat cabai tersebut cepat membusuk dan petani mengalami kendala panen.
Dituturkan Haryati, ketiga pasar induk di Kota Pekalongan tersebut memang terjadi variasi harga komoditas cabai namun hanya selisih sedikit. Penurunan harga cabai ini, lanjut Haryati, disebabkan adanya kenaikan stok komoditas cabai oleh produsen (petani). Penurunan harga cabai diakui Haryati maish diatas harga normal.
“Untuk cabai jenis merah besar biasa/teropong rata-rata dibanderol sekitar Rp 65 ribu per kilogramnya, cabai merah keriting juga sama Rp 65 ribu, sedangkan untuk cabai rawit merah Rp76 ribu dan cabai rawit hijau Rp 27 ribu per kilogramnya. Kota Pekalongan ini bukan daerah penghasil cabai, sehingga biasanya pedagang membeli dari produsen di Jember, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur dan Kabupaten Semarang Jawa Tengah,†ujar Haryati.(YON)
