PUSKAPIK.COM, Pemalang – Tim Asosiasi Futsal Kabupaten (AFK) Pemalang U-17 bersiap menghadapi turnamen Asosiasi Futsal Provinsi (AFP) Jateng Championsip 2023 di Kabupaten Karanganyar tanggal 17 – 24 Juni 2023 mendatang.
Untuk menghadapi ajang bergengsi itu, AFK Pemalang U-17 telah menggelar seleksi ketat guna membangun skuat terbaiknya. Seleksi digelar dua tahap di dua tempat berbeda untuk memaksimalkan komposisi pemain.
Seleksi yang berlangsung di Neng Ika Sport Center Bantarbolang dan GOR SMK Islam Nusantara Comal pada April lalu itu menjadi kunci performa AFK Pemalang. Ada 14 pemain yang terpilih untuk memperkuat Tim AFK Pemalang U-17 ini.
“Kemarin ada ratusan peserta yang ikut seleksi di dua tempat itu, antusiasme mereka betul-betul tinggi. Dari seleksi kami kerucutkan menjadi 14 pemain terbaik,” ujar Dimas Yulianto, Head Coach Tim AFK Pemalang U-17, Rabu 10 Mei 2023.
Sebanyak 14 pemain itu nantinya akan memperkuat Tim AFK Pemalang U-17 berlaga melawan tim-tim dari Kabupaten/Kota di Jawa Tengah dalam AFP Jateng Championsip pada 17 – 24 Juni 2023 di GOR Raden Mas Said, Kabupaten Karanganyar.
“Saya melihat Pemalang itu potensi atlet futsalnya luar biasa, apalagi sekarang ini banyak lapangan futsal.” terangnya.
Dimas pun mengaku optimis anak-anak bimbingannya mampu tampil maksimal di turnamen AFP Jateng Championsip 2023. “Tentu kita sangat optimis, kita pasang target bisa melaju sampai final. Mohon dukungannya.” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu Manajer Tim AFK Pemalang U-17, Heru Kundhimiarso, berharap, timnya mampu tampil apik dan meraih target yang dipatok dalam ajang turnamen AFP Championsip 2023 yang sudah dinanti-nanti para atlet futsal ini.
“Turnamen ini bisa menjadi prestise olahraga kita, ayo kita tunjukan prestasi persepakbolaan Pemalang khususmya futsal di mata warga Jawa Tengah.” tegasnya.
