PEMALANG PUSKAPIK-Sistem Satu Arah (SSA) Jalan Jendral Sudirman Barat, Pemalang, hingga kini terus menjadi polemik di kalangan masyarakat Pemalang. Karena program tersebut menjadi pro dan kontra, sehingga harus dikaji lebih dalam.

Bupati Pemalang, H Junaedi SH.MM mengatakan, Sistem Satu Arah (SSA) Jalan Jendral Sudirman saat ini sednag tahap uji coba, jika Uji coba tersebut ada dampak yang tidak berpihak kepada masyarakat makan akan di lakukan evaluasi oleh pihak terkait.

Tetapi sebaliknya, menurut bupati, jika uji coba tersebut berhasil dan menurut kajian bersama forum lalulintas sudah layak, maka akan diperluas sistem satu arah ke jalan jalan lain di wilayah perkotaan Kabupaten Pemalang.

“Sebenarnya kalau diberlakukan sesuai rencana dan hasil kajian bersama forum lalu lintas berhasil, maka akan diperluas ke Jalan Pemuda searah dari utara dan Jalan A Yani searah dari selatan, dan itu mungkin lebih efektif,” kata Bupati Junaedi, Kamis (30/1/2020).

Perlu diketahui sistem satu arah di Jalan Jendral Sudirman merupakan kesepakatan bersama pada rapat antara Dinas Perhubungan, Komisi B DPRD Pemalang dan perwakilan warga. Selain itu SSA merujuk pada UU No. 22 Tahun 2009 tentang LLAJ -PP No 32 Tahun 2011 Tentang Manajemen dan Rekayasa, Analisa Dampak dan Manajemen Kebutuhan Lalu Lintas -Permenhub No 96 Tahun 2015 tentang Pedoman Pelaksanaan Manajemen dan Rekayasa Lalu Lintas.
