TEGAL (PUSKAPIK) – Ketua DPRD Kota Tegal, Kusnendro, meminta Pemerintah Kota Tegal menghentikan penebangan pohon di Taman Pancasila (Eks Taman Poci). Hal itu disampaikan Kusnendro saat meninjau lokasi Taman Pancasila bersama tiga anggota DPRD lainnya Sodik Gagang, Saefudin, Rahmat Raharjo, Selasa siang (28/01/2020).
Menurut Kusnendro, pembangunan yang dilakukan Pemkot Tegal mulai dari eks Taman Poci, jalan Pancasila sampai depan BRI dalam proses awalnya berjalan kurang baik, dengan penebangan pohon tanpa pemberitahuan kepada para pedagang. Sehingga menimbulkan kerancuan.
Saat ini proses penebangan masih berjalan dan sedang dalam proses pembersihan. “Kita minta penebangan ini dihentikan dulu,” ujar Kusnendro.
Kusendro menambahkan, pihaknya akan mengundang Disperkim, Diskop UMKM & Perdagangan, Lingkugan Hidup dan Bappeda. Hasil diskusi dengan dinas terkait tersebut akan menjadi kesepekatan bersama.
“Kira-kira setelah pembangunan selesai, nantinya para pedagang di sekitar Taman Poci dan Pancasila akan ditempatkan secara peramanen di mana,” ujarnya.
Ditanya soal ada tidaknya izin yang dimiliki pedagang, wakil rakyat dari PDIP itu mengatakan, Pemkot Tegal selaku wakil dari pemerintah pusat harus bisa mensejahterakan masyarakatnya. Jika para pedagang belum berizin, harusnya ada tempat yang tertata secara baik. Sehingga pedagang merasa aman dan pembelinya pun merasa nyaman. Sehingga retribusi untuk PAD Kota Tegal bisa masuk secara transpran untuk meningkatkan PAD.
Upaya Pemkot menata dan membangun kawasan Jalan Pancasila sampai dengan Alu-alun agar kawasan tersebut menjadi indah dan tertata rapi. “Penataan dan pembangunan jawasan Jalan Pancasila sampai Alun-alun nantinya kawasan ini akan menjadi kawasan luar biasa,” ujar Kusnendro.
Penebangan pohon di Taman Poci sempat menjadi polemik. Setelah ada warung milik pedagang hancur berantakan tertimpa pohon yang ditebang. Pemilik warung meradang karena tidak diberitahu ada penebangan pohon. Saat tertimpa pohon, warung sedang tutup tanpa penunggu.(WIJ)
